Abstract

"This report makes available for the first time estimates of victimisation from the extension of the British Crime Survey (BCS) to children aged 10 to 15 years resident in households in England and Wales. In accordance with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics, the statistics presented in this report are published as Experimental Statistics, that is as new official statistics undergoing evaluation and published to involve users and stakeholders in their development as a means to build in quality at an early stage. As such, the statistics are subject to further refinement and review." - Page 1.
