Abstract

Comprises two Further Education Funding Council (FEFC) inspection reports for the periods 1995-96 (61/96), and 1998-99 (35/99). The FEFC has a legal duty to make sure further education in England is properly assessed. Inspections and reports on each college of further education are conducted according to a four-year cycle. Dudley College of Technology is one of the largest general further education colleges in the West Midlands. It is one of a group of colleges which typically recruits a high percentage of students from disadvantaged areas.
