Abstract

"This report is based on an independent study of 51 children and young people with experience of proceedings and seeking their views regarding press access to and reporting of family proceedings. Respondents are drawn from a range of geographical areas in England and interviews were undertaken between November 2009 and January 2010... The study is unique ... primarily because in exploring the views of children and young people it provides a context in which participants can express their views by using ‘real’ cases (vignettes) to explore the issues." - exec. summary.
