Abstract

"LLUK, along with all other SSCs, has a mainstream responsibility to develop a Sector Skills Agreement (SSA) with key funding bodies and providers across the UK, to ensure that training is delivered and is of sufficient quantity and quality to meet the future needs of the lifelong learning workforce. The SSA process comprises five stages and this report represents stage 2 - an assessment of current provision, which is relevant to the UK’s lifelong learning workforce. The report has been guided by findings from the identification of skills needs in stage 1, and will help form the starting point for stage 3, which explores gaps between supply and demand, and identifies ways of tackling them." - Page 1.
